DIY chamomlie facial soap bar for sensitive skin

this facial bar is based on three amazing ingredients for the skin. honey, chamomile extract and shea butter. it will work on balancing the oil production, tightening the oily pores and give the skin a healthy glowing texture.

if you’re a beginner then melt & pour method is the best way for you as long as your soap base made with natural ingredients.

let's get started


homemade melt and pour chamomlie & honey facial soap bar:

you will need:

4 cavity circle shape silicone mold

150g honey melt & pour soap base

100g shea butter

15ml castor oil

5ml chamomile extract

2.5ml chamomile & honey essential oil"optional

99% isopropyl alcohol in spray bottle

heat-safe jug and spatula.

instructions:

  1. prepare your work space by placing paper towels on the table then use a chopping board to chop 150g of honey melt and pour soap base into small cubes. place the soap base into heat-safe jug and melt it in the microwave for 30 seconds, check on it if needs to melt more then place it in the microwave for another 30 seconds and so on until you get the liquid texture you need.

  2. in another heat-safe jug place 100g shea butter in the microwave for 15-25 seconds until it’s melted.

  3. add 15ml castor oil ans 2.5ml chamomile & honey essential oil to the melted shea butter and mix them thoroughly.

  4. in a mixing bowl place the melted soap base then add the liquid mixture and mix using a spatula.

  5. spray the molds with 99% isopropyl alcohol then pour the soap into each mold. if there's bubbles then spray the top with alcohol to help get rid of them. leave the soap in the mold to cool and harden for around 4 hours before un-molding it. pack every soap bar with a packing paper"optional"..... and enjoy!
